New Products for Schools!
SCEMES Ltd, the number one resource for educational purchasing, is proud to present two new products at the Education Show 2009.To celebrate its tenth year serving the educational marketplace, SCEMES Ltd has re-launched its core products and will be showcasing them at this year’s Education Show at the Birmingham NEC.
SCEMES Ltd. is the number one resource for educational purchasing and has been connecting school purchasers with local and national suppliers for the past decade.
In celebration of this achievement, SCEMES has re-launched its database of school suppliers SCEMES.COM and its flagship publication ‘The Headteachers and Bursars Handbook of Procurement’ and will be exhibiting both these new and improved products on stand Q10 in Hall 6 from 26-28th March.
SCEMES.COM
SCEMES.COM is an online directory of educational suppliers that is exclusively designed for school purchasers and it is available to educational users free of charge.
It was first established in 1999 to help school purchasers to source trustworthy and competitive suppliers from within an open marketplace and over the past decade, SCEMES.COM has become widely used by purchasers looking to source Best Value products and services for their schools.
Improved
In September 2008, SCEMES re-launched the directory, and the site now has an improved search facility as well as improved content.
It still lists over 6,000 companies offering products and services to schools, but buyers can now search for suppliers both nationally and from within their local region by entering keywords and their postcode or by searching through a list of options.
The new site also contains a wealth of information about procurement, including articles from experts within the field of procurement, and up-to-date news from the educational arena.
The Handbook of Procurement
SCEMES has also re-launched its supplier directory for schools, the Headteachers and Bursars Handbook of Procurement and will be distributing copies to visitors to the Education Show.
The Headteachers and Bursars Handbook of Procurement is a comprehensive directory of school suppliers that is exclusively designed for educational purchasers and distributed annually to 32,000 schools nationwide free of charge.
The Handbook of Procurement contains the details of over 3,000 local and national suppliers, all of which are dedicated to serving the educational market and many of which have years of experience in working with schools and colleges.
Re-Designed
The latest edition of the Handbook not only has a fantastic new look, but has also includes an improved reference guide, information on educational procurement and an extended introductory section containing articles from authoritative sources such as the NCSL, the ASCL and the TDA.
The new Handbook is available to all educational users free of charge and SCEMES will be handing out copies to Headteachers and Bursars that visit the stand throughout the Education Show.
Visit Us
SCEMES is proud to have been serving the educational marketplace for the past decade and thrilled to have re-designed its core products to make them even more useful to educational users.
SCEMES will be showcasing their new products, demonstrating how to use the website and giving away free Handbooks from stand Q10 during the education show and will be happy to talk to visitors about their services for schools, and answer any questions that they might have.
